Journal of the European Optical Society-Rapid Publications
Rapid progress in optics and photonics has broadened its application into many branches, including information and communication technology, security, sensing, bio- and medical sciences, healthcare and chemistry. Recent achievements in other sciences have allowed continual discovery and formulation of challenging goals for optics that require further development and running fundamental research. The Journal of the European Optical Society – Rapid Publications (JEOS-RP) aims to tackle these points in the form of prompt, scientific, high-quality communications that report on the latest findings. [See Aims and scope]

The European Optical Society, EOS, is a non-profit society, an umbrella organization for the national optical learned societies around Europe. Its mission is to encourage the cooperation of all with an interest in optics and photonics. EOS members extend from Europe to all over the world. Among other benefits, EOS members receive a substantial reduction in their publication fees in JEOS-RP.
