JEOS-RP goes from strength to strength in Impact Factor and Citescore rankings

The Journal of the European Optical Society-Rapid Publications (JEOS-RP) continues to prove itself a valued and trusted publication among the optics community, and the entire team were delighted to see this reflected once again in both the 2025 Journal Citation Reports™ (JCR), published recently by Clarivate Analytics, and Elsevier’s CiteScore rankings.

The 2024 Impact Factor for JEOS-RP is 3.2, a 68% increase from 2023. The CiteScore also increased significantly, by 9.1%, to 3.6 for 2024.

2021 Impact Factor – big increase to 2.021

We are pleased to report an increase of 32% to 2.021 for the impact factor of the Journal of the European Optical Society-Rapid Publications which joined EDP Sciences at the start of 2022. Journal of the European Optical Society-Rapid Publications joins EDP Sciences

We are delighted to announce that the European Optical Society (EOS) has chosen EDP Sciences as its new publishing partner for its peer-reviewed Journal of the European Optical Society-Rapid Publications (JEOS-RP). From 1 January 2022, JEOS-RP is included in the journals portfolio and the first articles are in production. Sergei Popov, Editor-in-Chief, leads the journal and is ably supported by his Co-Editors Riad Haidar, Gerd Leuchs and Sergei Turitsyn as well as an expert, international Editorial Board.
